Adjustable Height Stool

The Delavelle® solid wood screw stool, made in France, is a design reinterpretation of the traditional watchmaker’s stool. Its round swiveling seat is adjustable in height to adapt to the height of your kitchen island, bar, or table, offering great flexibility for convivial moments. The curved seat surface provides a comfortable and ergonomic seating experience. The design, the oak used, and the cabinetmaking technique make this piece of craftsmanship a durable and exceptionally high-quality piece of furniture.

The screw is machined in Germany, while the rest is handcrafted from cutting to finishing by a cabinetmaker in our workshop located in Haute-Saône, eastern France, using local wood from sustainably managed and PEFC-certified forests.

This screw stool follows a comprehensive eco-design approach, optimizing local production, using renewable and eco-certified materials (wood and oil), formaldehyde-free glue, ensuring durability, good repairability, access to spare parts, recyclable and valorizable materials at the end of life, all aimed at minimizing its environmental impact and integrating it into a circular and sustainable model.

Exceptional Natural Finish

The CLOCK screw stool is treated exclusively with natural oil, displaying the beauty of natural oak. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the surrounding air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant environment. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable finishing quality and touch. The oil used complies with the EN 71-3 toy standard for child safety.

PEFC Country Wood

The oak used for this screw stool comes from France and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified. This guarantees that the processed wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly controlled by an independent organization.

Maintenance

The maintenance of this contemporary oak screw stool is very simple and easy:

• Daily cleaning: with a sponge or damp cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
