Wood and French Fabric Armchair

The solid oak Aix armchair is manufactured in our own workshop in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Like all our furniture, the armchair is eco-designed and crafted entirely by hand from A to Z. 100% Made in France, the local wood comes from sustainably managed forests and is PEFC eco-certified. Our artisans use only vegetable oil for finishing the furniture. The backrest and seat of the armchair are customizable, and you can choose from several fabric colors, different types of wood, custom dimensions, or leather, all available upon request. This Bonneval cloth from the Arpin mill (73) is entirely made in France and spun and woven with wool from sheep in the Alps

Exceptional natural finish

The Aix armchair is treated only with vegetable oil. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the ambient air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant indoor environment. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable finishing quality and touch. We use Rubio Oil + 2C oil that meets the EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children.

PEFC certified wood

The oak used for this armchair comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified.

This ensures that the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests. Our wood supplies are regularly inspected by an independent organization.
