Solid Walnut Dining Table

The solid wood dining table is 100% manufactured in our company, just like all our furniture. Our artisans exclusively use locally certified PEFC wood from our Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Tailor-made, the MéliMélo table is available in square sizes of 80 x 80 and 100 x 100 cm, and in rectangular dimensions of 200 x 80, 200 x 100, and 140 x 100 cm. All manufacturing steps, from cutting the wood planks to finishing the furniture, are carried out in our cabinetmaking workshop.

The name ‘MéliMélo’ comes from its legs, which are composed of two intertwining legs that form a contemporary and sleek design.

Exceptional Natural Finish

This MéliMélo kitchen table has been meticulously sanded and oiled with eco-friendly natural oil. The oil contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), displaying all the natural beauty of walnut. The wood remains free and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant surrounding environment. The oiled finish offers a silky touch.

PEFC Certified Wood

The walnut used for this dining table comes from sustainably managed French forests. The wood we use for the production of all our furniture is eco-designed and PEFC certified since 2012. This control of resource sustainability occurs throughout the supply chain: the forests where the trees come from are certified, the sawmills that transform the trees into planks are certified, and we are the last link in this control chain as a manufacturer and distributor of furniture.

Preserved Environment

French cabinetmaking manufactures everything from A to Z. Environmental preservation is a preventive approach to minimize the product’s impact on the atmosphere:

• Raw materials: our cabinetmakers work only with solid and locally certified PEFC wood.
• Manufacturing: our artisans avoid creating wood waste, but if it happens, we try to reuse it to make other objects, such as salad servers available in « Accessories. »
• Transport: Our furniture can be picked up on-site in our workshop or delivered. The team ensures to group orders for a single delivery.
• Use: Furniture made in France and eco-designed with solid wood from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, ensuring you have furniture with unmatched longevity and quality of craftsmanship.
• The finish of our Made in France furniture is artisanal and refined with Rubio® natural vegetable oils (Complies with toy standard EN 71-3 for child safety).
• End of furniture/recycling: The advantage of solid wood is that once worn, you can sand the damaged part. If the damage is more severe, feel free to contact us for more information.

Indoor Air Quality

This MéliMélo kitchen table is made with local wood:

There is a reduction in indoor air pollution and VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions. Finishes are made with natural vegetable oils (Toy standard EN 71-3 for child safety). Traditional assembly is done with formaldehyde-free wood glue.

Maintenance

The maintenance of the dining table is very simple and easy:

• Daily cleaning: with a sponge or a damp cloth.
• Occasional wood maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches on the wood: sand and apply care oil.
