Our luminaires are made of BIO-polyethylene. BIO-polyethylene is a natural product and is made from sugar cane. By manufacturing our products from renewable raw materials, we not only conserve the finite resources of
our planet, but also actively contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases.

As the sugar cane grows, the plant binds CO2 from the air. After the sugar cane is harvested, alcohol is formed through fermentation (like in wine production), from which polyethylene is then produced.
