RABELO SOFA

Rabelo is a remarkably soft and comfortable sofa that is an epitome of relaxation and emotion. It can fit any open-plan, hospitality setting or high-end public area.

The design elements have a timeless yet modern expression, inspired by the silhouette of one of the most popular icons of Porto city, the Rabelo boats, that during centuries carried barrels of port wine from the vineyards to the cellars and that now are used as sightseeing cruises that sail down the Douro River.

The size can vary between two or three generous places with vertical bands and parallel stitching inspired by the terraces of Douro Valley, supported by two solid wood legs which are set from the back to the front to create the effect of suspension, reminding the boats that named the sofa.

The inner structure in solid wood with elastic belts, together with the padding in crush-proof foam with different densities, covered by quality fabrics or leather, conveys a deep comfort allowing its user to sit at multiple angles for hours.
