Kuba rugs draw their inspiration from Zairean Kuba art, famous for its abstract motifs and rich creativity. Kuba men and women, renowned for their exceptional weaving and embroidery skills, developed increasingly abstract designs as the kingdom grew in prosperity and power.

The design concept is inspired by African fabrics, but revisits them with a modern approach and a sense of added perspective. The traditional ethnic pattern is metamorphosed into two layers, creating a captivating visual depth that further enhances the effect of perspective.
