Solid wood interior bench

The Dendro bench in solid oak was created as part of an upcycling approach, enabling us to recycle the wood slabs from our sawmill waste.

The slab is the first plank of wood cut from the outside of the tree, with a straight sawn face and a round face covered in bark. It’s this geometry that has inspired the characteristic design of this collection, while enhancing the value of a material that was previously used only as fuel. Like the rest of our collections, the Dendro bench is entirely manufactured at our Saulnot workshop in France, and finished by hand by our cabinetmakers whose expertise is recognized by the EPV label: Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant.

The Dendro bench is available in four lengths, from 60 to 240 cm, or made-to-measure on request, in a variety of French woods: oak, walnut, beech or other local woods.

Made from solid oak and protected with natural oil to display all the beauty of natural wood.
The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties.
It breathes, absorbing moisture and gradually releasing it to the ambient air, ensuring a healthy, pleasant room climate.
Final sanding and oiling are done by hand to ensure a flawless finish and feel.
The oil used meets the EN 71-3 toy standard for children’s safety.

PEFC local wood

The oak we use comes from France, within a 15 km radius of our workshop in Saulnot. The wood we use, our sawmill and our workshop carry the PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification) label, a guarantee that the wood we work with comes from sustainably managed forests.

Our wood supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.
