Dendro console in oak

Developed with a circular economy approach, the Dendro console was designed to valorize wood flitches, waste from our sawmill and production workshop. The flitch is the first plank cut from the outside of the tree; it has one sawn straight face and one round face covered with bark. It is this geometry that inspired the design of this console, while highlighting this material that was previously only used as fuel. The Dendro console was selected and supported by the Circular Booster and was part of the « Trust Upcycled Furniture » exhibition at the Maison et Objet fair in September 2022. Like all our furniture, this Console was handcrafted in France in our own cabinetmaking workshop. Customizable, the Dendro Console is also available in other wood species such as cherry, ash, walnut, beech, or maple.

Exceptional natural finish.

The finish of the solid oak console has been carefully handcrafted by our cabinetmakers. The wood has been finely sanded before being oiled with a Rubio® natural oil that contains no VOCs (volatile organic compounds). This natural and ecological finish protects and enhances the wood while providing a silky and ultra-soft touch.

PEFC Wood from the Region

The wood flitch we use for the console comes from sustainably managed forests located less than 15 km from our workshop in Saulnot (70). The oak we use for our furniture has been PEFC certified since 2012: this certification respects forest balance by considering environmental and social aspects. Our company and our supplies are audited every year by an independent organization to verify compliance with the certification standard:

• License number: PEFC/10-32-2633.
• Control chain number: QUAL/12-716.

Preserved Environment

Environmentally responsible, environmental preservation is a preventive approach to minimize the product’s impact on the planet. Our company manufactures all furniture from A to Z in the workshop in Franche-Comté:

• Raw materials: our cabinetmakers only work with locally certified PEFC wood.
• Manufacturing: our artisans avoid creating wood waste; if it occurs, we try to reuse it to make other items, such as salad servers available in « Accessories. »
• Transport: The team ensures to group orders for a single delivery. Our furniture can also be picked up on-site at our workshop.
• Use: 100% Made in France and eco-designed with solid wood from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, ensuring you have furniture with unparalleled longevity and quality.
• The finish of our Made in France furniture is refined with Rubio® natural vegetable oils (Complies with the toy standard EN 71-3 for child safety).
• End of furniture/recycling: The advantage of solid wood is that once worn, you can sand the damaged part. If the damage is more severe, feel free to contact us for more information.

Indoor Air Quality

The cabinetmaking workshop ensures to select natural materials, such as solid oak, to be non-polluting for the indoor air:

For furniture finishing, our artisans only use Rubio® natural vegetable oils, complying with the toy standard EN 71-3 for child safety, reducing the emission of VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
For the traditional assembly of furniture, only formaldehyde-free wood glue is used, ensuring impeccable air quality and being environmentally friendly.

Maintenance

Solid oak is easy to maintain:

• Regular maintenance:

Simply clean with a sponge or damp cloth; you can also use Rubio® interior soap.

• Occasional maintenance:

Highly used surfaces may fade over time; use Refresh Eco Rubio® care oil to restore silkiness to the surface and revive the oil’s protection.
If a greasy substance has come into contact with your furniture, a stain has likely appeared; use Rubio® Degreasing Spray Cleaner.
