Solid oak coffee table: warm and elegant

Crafted by our artisans in Franche-Comté, the Couscous coffee table is the latest creation from this collection, born out of collaboration with the artist-designer Bina Baitel.

Eco-designed with local solid wood labeled PEFC and French wood, this coffee table is the intersection of our artisanal cabinetmaking expertise and Bina Baitel’s contemporary design perspective. The friendly shapes and warm appearance of solid wood give it a welcoming and authentic character, reminiscent of a couscous dish traditionally shared in conviviality.

Exceptional natural finish

The solid oak of this Couscous coffee table is carefully sanded and manually oiled with Rubio Oil Plus 2C, which protects and enhances the wood. The tabletop is protected by an additional layer of Rubio® metallic oil, offering high stain resistance and easy maintenance. The oil used complies with the toy standard EN 71-3 for children’s safety.

PEFC Wood from the Region

The oak used for the manufacturing of this coffee table comes from forests located less than 15 km from our workshop, managed sustainably. These forests, as well as our workshop, are PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). This ensures the traceability of the wood used and its reasoned and sustainable exploitation. Our wood supplies are regularly controlled by an independent organization.

Ecodesign is a preventive approach that minimizes the impact of this walnut coffee table on the environment:

Maintaining this coffee table is very simple and easy:

Daily cleaning: with a sponge or a damp cloth. Occasional wood maintenance if needed: apply maintenance oil with a cloth. In case of scratches on the wood: sand and apply maintenance oil with a cloth.
