The production of handmade papers is in India a real art handed down from generation to generation. The handmade Indian papers are manufactured from cotton’s fibres which are usually rejected from the texile industry. The manifacturing process doesn’t use toxic chemical substances; flowers’ petals, silk or herb strings are added to the pulp in order to obtain colors, specials finishes and create unique features. All the process is handmade and the paper foils are dried at the sun with no use of machines producing CO2 emission.
