Made to measure and on order in France
Designed by drawer Louis Joseph Fuchs in 1862, this panoramic wallpaper was made by Manufacturer Jules Desfossé by means of 1148 engraved wood blocks. During the 19th century, Brazil fascinated the French, and numerous artists travelled there.
The illustrations they brought back strongly inspired Joseph FUCHS. Revitalizing this wonderful Brazil required a long, patient and delicate work from our workshop. But gorgeous murals deserve no less than extensive efforts!
Revitalizing such fabulous panoramic wallpaper by means of digital restoration was a patient and meticulous completed by our workshop.
