About the Colombia Coffee

Colombia is a true coffee heavyweight, its climate, altitude and rainfall providing the foundations for some of the world’s finest Arabica coffees. The country has a number of unique microclimates, ideal for high-end coffee production. This single origin coffee hails from the lush mountain ranges of Popayán in the state of Cauca, where the high altitude and rich volcanic soil combine to produce some outstanding coffees.

We sourced this coffee from the Asociación de Caficultores Ecológicos del Cauca (ACEC), a cooperative with over 500 members, including 80 women, who work together to improve the quality of their coffee and reduce their environmental impact. Fairtrade and certified organic, this coffee is fully washed and sun dried, resulting in a well balanced cup with notes of dried fruit, almond and chocolate, and a lingering sweetness.
