The Aix 120 cm bench combines solid oak from Franche-Comté and the wool from the Bonneval fabric of the Arpin spinning mill (73), two ancestral and timeless natural materials. Like all Delavelle furniture, the Aix bench is eco-designed and 100% made in France, in Saulnot (70) in the brand’s workshop, where craftsmen, cabinetmakers, and upholsterers use all their expertise to assemble these noble materials to offer you a comfortable and durable seat. This 2-seater version, 120 cm, is ideal for accommodating 2 people. The seat and backrest are available in 7 color options above, which you can discover by scrolling through the photos.

Exceptional natural finish

The Aix bench is treated exclusively with natural vegetable oil. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the surrounding air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant indoor climate. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring a flawless finish and touch. We use Rubio Oil + 2C oil that complies with the EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children.

PEFC wood from local sources

The oak used comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified. This ensures that the processed wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Our wood supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.

Eco-design is a preventive approach to minimize the product’s impact on the environment:

This bench is made from local wood, a renewable and recyclable resource. It is repairable: natural solid wood can be sanded and restored. The seat and backrest of this bench are removable and can be easily replaced or restored.

Maintenance

The Aix bench is easy to maintain:

• You can clean the wooden surfaces daily with a sponge or a damp cloth.
• For optimal maintenance, you can clean it with nourishing care oil.
• Scratches on the wood surface are easily repairable. The backrest and seat are detachable to facilitate maintenance.
